July 28, 1777 order from the Pennsylvania Council to lieutenants in the counties in the state to prepare for an invasion and to march to Chester, Pennsylvania. Of note, there is a reference to General George Washington marching to join the fight, although having a distance to cover. See LLMC # 20971 for related document.
