May 31, 1774 resolutions of a meeting in Baltimore County, chaired by Capt. Charles Ridgley, which expressed support for Boston, following the
passage of the blocking of the harbor of Boston. Included were a support of an embargo against Great Britain and West Indies, both as to importation and
exportation of goods; as well as refusing to trade with any colony, province, or town that does not join this embargo. (Digitized from a microfilm copy
