April 27, 1700 Broadside of the response by the General Assembly of Maryland to the speech given by the governor of Maryland. The assembly concurred with the governor's suggested actions, which focused on maintaining the Protestant religion consistent with the King's orders, as well as allowing the General Assembly to otherwise perform its functions. Of note, the speech is found in 20702. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York Historical Society Library).
