1847, Bank Commissioners' report on banking capital

Report of the Bank Commissioners under a resolution from the Connecticut General Assembly during the May 12, 1847. The report dealt with the amount
of banking capital in the state, and its location. Recommendations included adding
more banks in sections of the state, although that did not
suggest that the then current level of capital was insufficient for the banks at hand. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the
