April 27, 1775 notice, which was inserted in the New York Gazetteer for four weeks, from James Rivington, who was a printer in New York. This
notice stated that although he previously published documents based on the freedom of the press and his duty as a printer, He would not longer publish any
which gave offence to the inhabitants of the New York or the colonies. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of title originally held by the New York
