1725, Papers on the Louis Rou affair

A brief book entitled "A collection of some Papers concerning the Lewis Rou's Affair," which was published in 1725 in New York. This document
(written by Rou) was in response to a rivalry between two Huguenot ministers. Rou was the head of St. Espirit Church until he was disposed in 1724, and
replaced by Jean Moullinars, a minister who was less conciliatory with the Anglican church. Following this publication in 1725, Rou was returned to his
position, following rulings by his chess partner, Governor Burnet, and the New York Council. (Source of digitized copy: New York Public Library).
