A November 13, 1693 Broadside; this proclamation warned the public against any deserter, fugitives, and other such vagabonds, and instructed
officials to periodically check travelers to determine that they are not any of these persons. (Digitized from a microfilm copy of a title originally held by
the New York Historical Society Library (c.1) and the Massachusetts Historical Society Library (c.2)).

A proclamation : whereas I am given to understand that sundry souldiers and marriners have deserted Their Majesties service / given under my hand and seal at Fort William Henry, the thirteenth day of November, 1693.
