(The award in a claim of Great Britain on behalf of the Cayuga Indians in Canada involving treaties between the state of New York and the Cayuga
Nation in 1789, 1790, and 1795 and the Treaty of Ghent (1814) between the U.S. and Great Britain. The U.S. argued that the claim was barred by laches and
Great Britain argued that the Canadian Cayugas are entitled to an annuity in the future. The Cayuga Indians were awarded one hundred thousand dollars
by the Tribunal. LLMC 11050 contains Supplementary papers filed by the U.S. in this case and the Memorandum of Oral Argument of the U.S. is LLMC
