Articles of Agreement between the United States and the United Nation of Senecas and Shawnee Indians, December 29, 1832, 7 Stat. 411-413. ( Articles
of Agreement between the United States and the United Nation of Senecas and Shawnee Indians in which the Indians relinquish all claims to the land
granted to them on the Grand River by the treaties concluded on February 28, 1831, 7 Stat. 348 (LLMC 69903) and July 20, 1831, 7 Stat. 351 (LLMC 69904).
In consideration the Indians were granted a tract of land on the east side of the Grand River bounded on the east by the State of Missouri, on the
north by the Seneca Indians from Sandusky, and on the south by the Cherokee Indians. The land was granted in fee simple, but could not be sold or ceded
without the consent of the United States. The treaty was concluded at the Seneca Agency located at the head waters of the Cowskin River on December
29, 1832.)
Title:   Articles of agreement made and concluded at the Seneca agency, on the head waters of the Cowskin river, this 29th day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty-two / by and between Henry L. Ellsworth and John F. Schermerhorn, commissioners, on behalf of the United States, and the chiefs and head-men of the "United Nation" of the Senecas and Shawnee Indians, on behalf of said Tribe or Nation.
