Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Potowatomies of the State of Indiana and Michigan Territory, October 27, 1832, 7 Stat.
399-403. ( Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Potowatomies in the State of Indiana and the Michigan Territory in which the Potawatomies
cede the title to land in the States of Indiana and Illinois, and in the Territory of Michigan south of the Grand River. In consideration the United
States agreed to pay them $15,000 annually for 12 years, $32,000 in goods at the signing, and $10,000 in goods in the Spring of 1833. The treaty was
concluded on October 27, 1832 on the Tippecanoe River in the State of Indiana.)

Davis and Mark Crume, commissioners on the part of the United States, and the chiefs and warriors of the Potowatomies, of the state of Indiana and Michigan territory.
