Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Pottawatimie Indians, October 26, 1832, 7 Stat. 394-397. ( Articles of a Treaty between the
United States and the Pottawatimie Indians in which the Indians cede land in the State of Indiana described in Article I. In consideration the United
States agreed to pay the Indians an annuity for twenty years of $20,000 and to deliver goods valued at $100,000 at the signing of the treaty. The U.S.
also agreed to pay the debts due by the Pottawatimies amounting to $62,412. The treaty was concluded on October 26, 1832 on the Tippecanoe River in the
State of Indiana.)
