Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Creek Nation of Indians, January 24, 1826, 7 Stat. 286-290. ( This Treaty nullifies the Treaty
concluded on February 12, 1825 at Indian Springs in Georgia, 7 Stat. 237 (LLMC 69867). The Creek Nation cedes tracts of land in the State of Georgia
to the United States. The Nation is to receive an additional perpetual annunity of $20,000 as compensation. The Treaty also contains a Supplementary
Article dated March 31, 1826 in which the Indians cede additional land. The Treaty was concluded in Washington, D.C. on January 24, 1826.)
Title:   Articles of a treaty made at the city of Washington, this twenty-fourth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-six / between James Barbour, Secretary of Qar, thereto specially authorisedby the President of the United States, and the undersigned, chiefs and head men of the Creek nation of Indians who have received full power from the said nation to conclude and arrange all the matters herein provided for.
