1825-06-02, Articles of a Treaty Made and Concluded at St. Louis
Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Great and Little Osage Tribes of Indians, June 2, 1824, 7 Stat. 240-244. ( Articles of a
Treaty between the United States and the Great and Little Osage Tribes of Indians in which the Osages cede lands lying within the State of Missouri and the
Territory of Arkansas. Article 2 reserves tracts of land for the Indians. In consideration the U.S. agreed to pay the tribes $7,000 annually for
twenty years. The treaty was concluded at St. Louis, Missouri on June 2, 1825.)
