Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Chippeway Tribe of Indians, June 16, 1820, 7 Stat. 206-207. ( Articles of a Treaty between the
United States and the Chippeway Tribe in which the Indians cede to the United States land located between the U.S. and the British Province of Upper
Canada. The boundaries are described in Article 1. The U.S. agreed to secure for the Indians a perpetual right of fishing at St. Mary's Falls and a
place for encampment near the falls. The treaty was concluded at the Sault de St. Marie in the Michigan Territory on June 16, 1820.)
