Articles of a Treaty between the United States of America and the Chippewa Nation of Indians, September 24, 1819, 7 Stat. 203-206. ( Articles of a
Treaty between the United States and the Chippewa Nation of Indians in which the Chippewas cede the land to the United States outlined in Article 1.
Article 2 describes the tracts of land reserved for the use of the Chippewa Indians. In consideration the United States agrees to pay the Indians one
thousand dollars in silver and that the annuities due by any former treaty shall also be paid in silver. The treaty was concluded at Saginaw in the
Michigan Territory on September 24, 1819.)
