Articles of a Treaty between the United States and the Miame Nation of Indians, October 6, 1818, 7 Stat. 189-192. ( Articles of a Treaty between the
United States and the Miami Nation of Indians that cedes to the United States the land specified in Article 1. Article 2 lists the reservations which
grant the Miamis use of specific pieces of land. In consideration the United States agrees to pay the Indians a perpetual annual annuity of $15,000 in
silver together with all the annuities the United States promised to pay in all former treaties. The treaty was concluded at St. Mary's in the state
of Ohio on October 6, 1818.)
