Articles of a Treaty between the United States of America and the Wea Tribe of Indians, October 2, 1818, 7 Stat. 186-187. ( Treaty between the United States and the Wea Tribe of Indians. The Weas cede the land they claim in the states of Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois. They also sanction the cession of land by the Kickapoos on December 9, 1809, 7 Stat. 117 (LLMC 69798).
