Treaty of Cession between the United States of America and the Chactaw Nation, October 24, 1816, 7 Stat. 152-153. ( Treaty of Cession in which the
Chactaw Indians cede to the United States the lands described in Article 1. In consideration the United States agreed to pay the Chactaw Indians $6,000
for twenty years, and $10,000 in merchandise when the treaty is signed. The treaty was concluded at the Chactaw Trading House in the Mississippi
Territory on October 24, 1816.)
