1925, G.B./U.S., Several Canadian Hay Importers (G.B. v. U.S.) (Award)
American and British Claims Arbitration: Award, Canadian Claims for Refund of Hay Duties: 7p., Place of publication and publisher not identified,
1925. (This is the award in the case of five claimants who requested a partial refund of duties collected by U.S. customs officials for payments they
made for shipping baled hay from Canada to the United States between 1870 and 1882. The arbitration panel was not persuaded by the argument that the
claimants were ignorant of U.S. customs laws and the Tribunal disallowed the claims of the British government. The Answer of the U.S. to the claims is
LLMC 11035 and the U.S. oral argument is LLMC 11036.)
