The Victorian Reports: Vol. 1–3, 1870–72, all vols. ed. by G.H.F. Webb, Melbourne, Sands & McDougal/Charles F. Maxwell, 1874–n.d., all publ. (Volumes
1-2 are each in four separate series, each separately paginated, covering: Cases in Equity; Cases at Law; Insolvency, Ecclesiastical & Matrimonial
Cases; Cases in the Court of the Chief Judge of Courts of Mines. Vol. 3 also has a separate section on Cases in Court of Vice-Admiralty. “According to
Sw. & Max., Leg. Bibliog. of the Br. Commonwealth, Vol. 6, p. 55: “The MS. of the cases filling the gap between this series and the Victorian Law
Reports was lost. Some of the cases in the gap years will be found in Vols. 4 & 5 of the Australian Jurist Reports.” Sw. & Max. also states that two
numbers of Vol. 4 were issued, but LLMC has not yet located that material. The loan of a copy for scanning purposes would be much appreciated.)
