titles bound together, with separate title pages and separate pagination, all apparently issued by the Swiss Federal Chancellery. All four titles are
offered separately on this site. Two of these are the bulk of the Civil Code, as passed in 1907, in French and German languages versions. The other two
are the French and German languages versions of the Code of Obligations, which is actually part of the Civil Code, but which was enacted separately by
the Swiss Parliament in 1911.The full Civil Code, including the “Obligations” portion, came into force throughout Switzerland on 1 January 1912.)
