under the authority of His Excel. the High Commissioner for South Africa London, Waterlow, 1901. (The original translation by Botha was made for the use
of the Military Governor of Bloemfontein at the end of the Second Boer War, before the reestablishment of civil administration. Botha’s text was
essentially the 1891 codification of Orange Free State law in 146 chapters. Barber and Findlay revised the Botha translation to account for amendments to
the 1891 codification by subsequent legislation to April 1901.)
