Treaty between Great Britain and King Feisal, 1926; Signed in Baghdad, January 13th, 1926: Cmd 2587, London, HMSO, 1926? (The sole purpose of this
treaty, entered into at the behest of the Council of the League of Nations, was to extend for 25 years the terms of the 1922 treaty , unless, within
that period, Iraq should be-come a member of the League. In this treaty Great Britain reaffirms its commitment to press for a quick admission. This
treaty is related to a similar 1926 treaty, also offered on this site.)
