Vol. 1 (1876) to Vol. 1947, all published. (The Indian Law Reports Act of 1875 was the first organized effort by the British to effect a national system of court reporting for the Indian colony. It established procedures for regular reporting of the appellate High court decisions in the Indian Law Reports, a multi-unit series, with a separate annual volume for each covered province. Coverage of the series was expanded in later years as such provinces as Bihar and Orissa came under British jurisprudential aegis.)
