Decret convoquant les assemblees primaires et decret electoral 1950: n.a., (1)+21, n.p.,n.d.(This decree was proclaimed by La Junte de Gouvernement
de la Republique d’Haiti on 10 May 1950, in reaction to the Electoral Law of 1949 [LLMC-31745], which would have permitted the liberal Afro-Haitian,
Pres. Estimé, to run for another term. The decree called for the dissolution of the legislative chamber and new elections which would give the new
government a popular mandate. The electoral decree starts on p. 4. The junta was led by three military officers. From the perspective of history, the
significant personage was one of the junior officers, Colonel Paul E. Magloire, who would soon be elected president.)
