Daumec, Response to Jacques St-Lot, 1957
Ma réponse a Jacques St-Lot: by Gérard Daumec, 15p, [Port-au-Prince, Imp. de l’Etat, 1957]. (Lacks TOC or index. Daumec was a partisan of the
Duvallier party. The St. Lot family was aligned with the mulatto elite; one member, Emile St. Lot, having served as Secretary of State for Justice and Labor
during the reign of the military junta which led to the presidency of Paul E. Magloire. This inflammatory pamphlet, issued during the 56-day
provisional presidency of Franck Sylvain, an Afro-Haitain, was aimed at the diehard partisans of the just-ousted Magloire. Daumec himself later fell out of
favor with Duvalier.)
