(27 pp.), n.p., n.d. (In the left column at the first line of the first entry, the inscription reads: This memoir is written in the hand of General
Rochambeau {i.e., Rochambeau, Donatien Marie Joseph de Vimeur, vicomte de, 1750-1813}. Rochambeau’s signature also appears on the final page, as does the
legend “Philadelphia,” which was the name of the French military ship in which he arrived at Saint Domingue. Images were digitized by LLMC from the
University of Florida Library’s microfilm Saint Domingue Collection, Reel #1, first title.)
