The Ordinances of the Colony of Fiji, A revised edition: by authority, Vol. 1–2, with continuous pagination, + index volume, Suva, S. Bach, GovPr, 1925, all published. (While the word “revised” appears in the title, this is not a full revision in the normal pattern of “Compiled Laws” issued by many other jurisdictions. Instead the work presents the ruling omnibus ordinance governing a given topic as amended to date. The omnibus ordinances themselves are not arranged alphabetically by subject, but rather in chronological order, depending upon the date when the first ordinance in that subject area was enacted. Thus use of the index {Index vol., starting at p. 61} is almost always necessary. Index references are to the page numbers of the two main volumes, which are continuously paginated {V. 1, pp. 1-900 & V.2, pp. 901-1752}.)
