(The Coptic papyri contained in this volume are the most important legal texts from Jeme (Thebes) that have come to light since the publication in 1912 of the Corpus of Jeme Papyri by Walter Crum. Arthur Schiller's article in the September, 1931 issue of The Juridical Review, includes a discussion of these texts. The table of contents is on p.vii. There are indexes by persons, places, and Coptic and Greek words at the end of the volume.)
