El derecho hipotecario en Cuba: partially associated with the author Angel Clarens, Vol. 1-8, Havana, Imp. de Rambla,1925 et seq. (Vol. 4-8 lack pub.
date. The origin and even authorship of this semi-official work is uncertain. It seems to be associated both with the Dept. of Justice, and also, as
to Vols. 1-7, with one Angel Clarens. The latter was both a published author on the subject of mortgage law, and also, much later in life,
“Registrador de la propiedad del centro de la Habana.” Vols. 1-4 & 7 have special added title-pages, with Clarens mentioned on the added t.p., but not on the
main one. There is no copyright claim in any of the volumes, and the publisher was known for publishing official titles. The organization of the work is
as follows: Vol. 1-4 cover “Jurisprudencia,” 1880-1926; Vol. 5-7 provide a “Colección Legislativa”; and Vol. 8 covers “Jurisprudencia Civil & Materia
Hipotecaria,” 1899-1927.)
