Treaty with the Chayenne Tribe, July 6, 1825, 7 Stat. 255-257. ( Treaty of Friendship between the United States and the Chayenne Tribe in which the
Indians were taken under the protection of the United States and acknowledge its supremacy. The agents of the President of the United States are to
designate places for trade with the Indians. The treaty was concluded at the mouth of the Teton River on July 6, 182.)
Title:   Treaty with the Chayenne Tribe : for the purpose of perpetuating the friendship which has heretofore existed, as also to remove all future cause of discussion or dissension, as it respects trade and friendship between the United States and their citizens, and the Chayenne tribe of Indians / the President of the United States of America, by Brigadier-General Henry Atkinson, of the United States' army, and Major Benjamin O'Fallon, Indian agent, with full powers and authority, specially appointed and commissioned for that purpose of the one part, and the undersigned chiefs, head-men and warriors of the Chayenne tribe of Indians, on behalf of said tribe, of the other part.
