Treaty between the United States and the Confederated Tribes of Sacs and Foxes in which the Sacs and Foxes cede 1,250,000 acres conveyed to them by the
treaty of September 21, 1832, 7 Stat. 374 (LLMC 69911). In consideration the U.S. agreed to invest $200,000 in safe State stocks and to guarantee the
Indians an annual income of not less that 5%. The treaty was concluded in the City of Washington on October 21, 1837.)
