We are proud to announce that a significant number of Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals records and briefs will be available on LLMC Digital starting today. Anne Robbins, Acquisitions Librarian at the Albert E. Jenner Jr. Law Library, describes the significance of this project, “The University of Illinois Law Library’s collection of briefs submitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit extends back to the late 1920s.   This digitization project done in collaboration with Google and LLMC will now preserve that collection and make it accessible to a much larger audience of scholars and practitioners.”

These records and briefs are also available on Google Books. Access via LLMC Digital will allow users to search for specific criteria such as docket numbers, party names, dates, as well as full text searching.

The new Seventh Circuit collection expands upon our existing California and New York records and briefs offerings. As scanning and metadata processing is completed members can expect more records and briefs from the Seventh Circuit to be available on LLMC Digital.
