In 2023, LLMC’s online service, LLMC Digital, becomes 21 years old and of course is ‘legal’!  As of April 2023, LLMC Digital has also reached another milestone, over 30,000 titles online:

Titles:         30,172

Volumes*:   156,482

Images:      93,281,696

*not including the expanding records and briefs collection

In fact, in this past Fiscal Year (May 2022 – April 2023), LLMC Digital added more than 6,000 titles; in other words, in 1 year, the database increased by 20%!

LLMC Digital titles span U.S. Federal, U.S. States, Canada, Indigenous, and 175 countries in more than 68 languages.  Many of these titles are historic, relevant, and searchable online only in LLMC Digital.  For example, Finland was held by Russia from 1809 until 1917.  LLMC recently added a 1910 treatise (in Russian) of a critical analysis of the Russian law on the procedures for promulgating laws in Finland.   The volume was a donation from the Law Library of Congress (LCCN:  60059199; LLMC 54100; OCLC #1375309295 ). LLMC is the only entity to hold this e-resource.  According to OCLC, UC-Berkeley, Harvard Law, Oxford and Law Library of Congress are the only libraries holding the print.

The LLMC nonprofit consortium www.llmcdigital.org encourages you to reach out to us anytime for additional content information and services!  We are happy to share that we will be exhibiting at the CALL/ACBD conference in May in Hamilton, AALL conference in July in Boston, and the IALL conference in Geneva in October.  In addition, please plan to attend our Annual Members Meeting on Monday, July 17, during the AALL Conference.  More details will be provided soon.

Many thanks to LLMC’s valuable Members, Partners, and Teams (LLMC, Saint Louis University Law Library, and EverView) for your significant efforts in support of LLMC’s vital mission!
