Description:Being a consolidation of the statute law of the Colony, down to and including the first session of the legislature in the year 1892: xxiii+1324p, St. Johns, Nfld., J.W. Withers, 1896. (Four appen-dices: contain the texts of: major Private Acts still in force; the current {1876} texts of the Royal Letters Patent, Commission, and Royal Instructions to the Governor; major constitutive documents for the judiciary; and extracts from the treaties relating to the fisheries of New-foundland and Imperial Acts giving effect thereto. The act for revising and consolidating the general statute law of the colony passed the legislature on 1 June 1892. The revision came into effect, after submission to and approval by the Colonial Office, through proclamation of the Governor on 12 April 1896.)
