(The appendix contains the Imperial Judicature Act and Royal Charter for Nfld.; the Royal Proclamation establishing the General Assembly; and extracts from the following treaties relating to Nfld.—Utrecht, 1713; Paris, 1763; Versailles, 1783; Paris 1814/15; along with the American Convention, 1818. The act for revising and consolidating the general statute law of the colony passed the legislature on 25 April 1872. The revision came into effect, after submission to and approval by the Colonial Office, through proclamation of the Governor on 14 April 1874.)
