Data Capture Supervisor
Job Description

Supervises scanning of printed materials in various sizes and condition.
- Hires, trains, and evaluates subordinate staff in use of digital equipment and
software.
- Maintains industrial quality high speed and step & repeat scanners.
Minimum qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of
scanning technology.
- Possesses supervisory aptitude and excellent communications
skills.
- Able to lift 40 lb. boxes.
- Possesses current driver’s license.
- Associates degree or equivalent.
Salary range: $35K - $40K
Data Technician I
Job Description
- Scans materials utilizing industrial quality high speed and step & repeat
scanners.
- Exercises judgment with settings for brightness, contrast, and
variations in physical size and condition of materials.
- Creates and maintains
electronic spreadsheets. Performs basic equipment maintenance.
- Tags electronic
images for retrieval.
Minimum qualifications
- Possesses working knowledge of
basic word-processing and spreadsheet software.
- Able to lift 40 lb. boxes.
- Able
to sit for two hour intervals.
- Possesses current driver’s license.
- High school diploma.
Starting Pay: $11.30/hr.
Clerk
Job Description
- Unboxes books, organizes volumes on shelving, and processes materials for
scanning or storage.
- Enters data into in-house database.
- Creates logs on
spreadsheets for inventory control and shipment.
- Packs books for off-site
storage or return to lending libraries.
- Delivers and retrieves boxes of books
from off-site storage facility.
- Picks up and drops off mail at Post Office.
Minimum qualifications
- Possesses working knowledge of basic word-processing and
spreadsheet software.
- Able to lift 40 lb. boxes.
- Possesses current driver’s
license.
- High school diploma
Starting Pay: $9.75/hour.
